In a period of time when the printed word was not available the infallibility of the Pope may have been necessary.
God’s word as stated in the Holy Scriptures should be the final authority on all matters of the Church. Excellent translations are currently available to all denominations.
Allowing historical traditions to become as important as the printed word is an invitation for all types of problems.
“The Priest is a human representative of God.
People feel better talking to a human being.”
Placing the requirement of celibacy on someone who wants to devote their life to serving God is not a reasonable burden .
Requiring celibacy is not consistent with human nature and it was never required by God.
In an ideal marriage a bride is a helpmeet, a physical companion in the same way a priest is supposed to be a physical representative of God.
Would this be a good time to move closer to the requirements of the scriptures and farther from the traditions of the fathers.
As Paul said “it is better to marry than to burn”.
Islam is not a nationality like German or Greek, It is a religion.
It is based on the opinion of a man and NOT God. It does not provide a way for man to escape eternal punishment. We should try to understand the people and not the religion. Islam stops somewhere in the “eye for an eye tooth for a tooth” teaching of the old testament. Jesus teaches in the new testament “Let he that is without sin cast the first stone”

If we would pay more attention to the people of the world maybe there would not be more 911s.
Religion is a personal decision by each individual person. Religious beliefs can not be forced on a person with the law! Jesus said render unto Cesar(the king at that time) the things that are Cesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s. God established human government and it is the responsibility of government to allow religious freedom
The Scripture also teaches that we ought to obey God rather than man. To do that we need to know the will of God, not the will of the Pope or Mohamed, or Buddha, or anyone else claiming to know the will of God.
